Many moons ago, Miguel began his journey learning how to build WordPress websites. At first, he didn't want a boring "cookie-cutter" blog. In those years, Miguel tried to pay for a beautiful website that would cost USD $50,000. As Content Management Systems (CMS) improved, Miguel began cycling and recycling websites, from good to great (still learning) at a much lower cost.
FACT: Miguel was listed as one of the top ten retail websites in the United States by USA Today, at the inception of the Internet. It was called "Nelly's Pilot Supply."
How can Miguel Give it All Away?
Patience is the Key!
We build new websites by applying the same proven templates, themes, and plugins in patterns (cycles). For example, Miguel manages many WordPress websites. They get backed up on a regular basis. Miguel has been doing the same backup procedure of a website on a regular basis as a pattern (cycle) for many years. This is one of about 20 intense cycles and he rotates between groups (themes).
One day, a few friends at a classic rock party asked Miguel if he would build their websites. Nonchalantly (finishing a Coors Light - silver bullet), Miguel asked how much they were quoted to build a one-page website. Miguel could not believe it! Another friend at the party heard the chatter, stepped up, and was not happy. He had a problem with the check-out in his eCommerce store and was quoted $2,500 to fix it. It would take 3 - 4 weeks to handle it. Heck, he was losing sales! Miguel gulped down another "silver bullet," grabbed someone's laptop, and had check-out fixed in 15 minutes. No charge. No big deal!
The happy ending of this story?
There was a case of the "silver bullet" on his front porch the next morning.
Everyone was happy!
Here is the Logic
It takes about five extra minutes to complete the backup of an additional website so why not replicate the pattern (cycle) and rotate between groups?
