Whether or not you plan to make a profit from your brand-spanking-new hobby or business, there are two immediate objectives and one mid-range goal to accomplish in 12-months.
Three Conditions
- $100 initial consultation fee, payable in advance. Non-refundable.
- During a period of 90 days, be available to help us complete your WordPress website. During the first year, there are no additional charges unless you request features outside the scope of our 'cookie-cutter' theme configuration.
- After one year from the date of the initial consultation fee, there is a charge of $12.95 per month or a charge of $129.95 per year. A WordPress consultant, designer, code developer and other specialists are available at reasonable fees.
After a year, you have the option to stay with us or switch to another host-provider; however, the theme and several plugins remain with us and you will need to purchase a theme and several plugins to duplicate your WordPress website.
Either way, take over the costs to design, update and maintain your own website after one year.
It is not our intention to make a business out of this. No strings attached.
In the meantime, this approach opens up your time to focus on your hobby or business. On your own initiative, you will learn how to post your own content, update and maintain your website. The learning curve is minimal compared to doing it by yourself or relying on computer geeks.
Miguel, why are you doing this?
Miguel creates and updates several websites on the WordPress, Joomla and Magento platforms. As time progresses, he began to group them with common characteristics. Once he became familiar with them, the time to maintain them was minimal.
During November of 2019, he began creating additional websites. While he was creating them, he began to notice the appearance and functionality of other websites. As long as he was creating additional websites, he could include others in the same time sequence. He could improve the appearance and functionality with most of the bells and whistles included like the professional websites. So, he asked a few friends and about eight friends and fifty new friends responded!
Surprised out of his mind, he decided to take additional time to figure out a way to do them all.
Choose between six WordPress Templates
Today, he offers six WordPress templates to help budding entrepreneurs squeeze the benefits of a well-designed website. Your mission is to fill it with valuable content in a new part-time or full-time endeavor.
As time progresses, Miguel plans to delegate the work of creating new websites to experts who simply duplicate the commonalities of each WordPress website in a fraction of the time. The costs are much lower than hiring someone else to do it at a grossly expensive rate.
As stated earlier, once the new website is built quickly, the experts who are already working on Miguel's projects can include your project in the same grouped time sequence.
Your mission is not to tinker with the WordPress website but to work with what you get and FOCUS ON POSTING QUALITY CONTENT.
Don't forget! After a year, there will be a monthly or annual charge. Two optional add-ons will be offered in separate packages.

Two Immediate Objectives
Monetize your website as quickly as possible. Don't hesitate. Monetizing requires you to find whatever legal and ethical means necessary to cover the monthly costs of operating and maintaining your website without causing additional stress.
- Suggestion: Generate revenue by tapping it from people visiting your website. Don't touch your pocketbook or the purses swinging loosely around you.
Profitize over and above the monthly costs of operating and maintaining your website which includes the time and resources added over and above monetizing it.
- Suggestion: Put your personal and professional goals along with a budget on a 12-month timeline. Keep it simple. Post your deadlines on a calendar on the wall next to the refrigerator. Get into the habit of checking every day off. Do it righteously for thirty days and it should become part of your behavior. Basically, you want to cover the costs of doing business which includes making a profit in 12 months.
The Mid-Range Goal is 12-Months
The mid-range goal is to slowly learn how to operate and maintain your blog by yourself without tapping the time of the host provider, host administrator and consultants.
Read the two objectives again because it hasn't fully registered in your mind yet. How much time are you dedicating to work (per hour) on your blog? A blog is a beautiful endeavor. Entrepreneurs call it a glorious adventure. Add it up!

Right now, your investment is mostly time. It's your most valuable resource. Never take your valuable time for granted.
What is Your Current Financial Condition?
Your current financial condition before starting any endeavor is clearly the first pivotal milestone before you can proceed to "mission to launch" in entrepreneurship. Smart start-ups do it this way so they can survive the crucible (the uphill battle) longer.
Never tap into your savings or other sources unless it is a planned and coordinated attack.
Never add any costs until you have momentum flowing. Entrepreneurs call it traction.

Lesson #101 - Portfolio Templates are Themes
All the Portfolio Templates offered by WP Consulting use WordPress.
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system based on PHP & MySQL. WordPress is mostly associated with blogging but supports other types of web content including more traditional mailing lists and forums, media galleries, and online stores.
WordPress is not Free
A professional appearance which includes even amateur functionality requires a huge investment of time and resources.
WordPress Websites Require One Theme
WordPress users install a theme which changes the appearance and functionality of a WordPress website without altering the core code or site content. WordPress theme should be designed using WordPress standards with structured PHP, valid HTML (HyperText Markup Language), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
WordPress Plugins
WordPress' plugin architecture allows users to extend the features and functionality of a website or blog. Plugins customize functions and features enabling users to tailor their sites to their specific needs.
These customizations offer a variety of features from search engine optimization to client portals used to display private information to logged in users, to content management systems, to content displaying features such as the addition of widgets and navigation bars.
Not all available plugins are always abreast with the upgrades and as a result, they may not function properly or may not function at all. The theme and plugins configured at your new website are reliable and stable.
Most plugins are available for free through WordPress but the trend for all of them, including WordPress and themes, is to charge for premium features which keep the entire website up-to-date.
"What do I Get?"
Miguel has become proficient in several WordPress themes and plugins. During the initial setup, most of the work is hidden. By that, the initial construction of a theme and plugins are done in the background before you can see it.
Several automated processes are included so there is minimal maintenance. You don't have to be concerned about doing it.
Focus on writing valuable content accompanied by an image for each post.
Even after the new website is completed, it takes several months to make continuous improvements while the blogger spends his time writing valuable content and adding images into it.
- Provide the content to replace what you see on the template.
- Supply the images, artwork, icons and any customized graphics.

Remember that anything published on your website can be viewed forever even if it's deleted.
"What's the difference between Pages and Posts?"
There is a huge difference between Posts and Pages on any website.
Pages include "About Us," "Ebook," and "Contact Us." Sooner or late, Pages should not require constant editing.
Posts contain valuable content submitted on a regular basis. Be consistent!
- Submit your Page content as a Microsoft document via email.
- Double-check your content so that frequent updates do not occur.
Posts contain valuable content that keeps the website alive and vibrant.
Generally speaking, Posts are what the search engines use to rank a website over time so that the world can find you when conducting a search.
Guess what! The first group of websites being constructed are clean and contain proper SEO in them. In just a few days, Google has sniffed through them and already ranking better than most of the websites on the planet! wooHOO!

You will be assigned a User Id and Password along with your new email address for the blog. There are two ways to add content. We suggest using a hidden page to get started.
First, you must be logged in to continue.
You will have access to add and edit your posts and pages. You can edit media (images). Please use a hidden page to add posts to get started for a couple of months.
How to access your hidden page. In the browser window, type [your domain] / submit-post. Click 'enter.' The password is your last name.
